Katie's Journey

With Tighe deployed to who knows where and Katie having returned to Oklahoma, Katie faces her biggest challenge--healing from her debilitating injuries, facing and dealing with her grief, examining her marriage to Noah, and trying to determine the truth of her feelings for Tighe while battling her guilt. Tighe faces battles of his own as he tries to patiently wait for Katie to find her footing in her life and hope that there's a place for him in it. As he fights for his country, he is critically wounded and must fight for his life, his last conscious thought being of the woman he loves.
