A young man, out of work, finds work at a ranch where all is peace and quiet. Well, not that quiet. The owners spoiled daughter thinks she's the boss. Daddy encourages her. The hands are not allowed to get anywhere near the girl. The young man and her, as predicted, get to like each other. They get married with Daddy's questionable blessing. Then comes an almost free herd of cows and a couple bulls. An Englishman with a Scot foreman, try to take over the whole area. Property is at stake. Cows were at stake. A baby shows up to make it interesting. The young man loses his memory. The Englishman get . . . You probably oughta read the book, it's wild.
