Teen depression is real. This easy-to-read rhyming book of poetry reveals a teen's painful and frustrating 2-year battle with depression.Growing up is a challenge. We all learn to handle it in our own special way. For James, he coped with it by writing these poems.The poems span a period of about 2 years - but critical years - at the ages of 17 and 18. The fight for acceptance by your parents, as you move from childhood into adulthood, mixed with the pressures of study, often make the lives of teenagers - in their late teens - miserable. Sometimes bordering on suicidal. James Taris has always confessed that he wrote poetry for therapeutic reasons and none of his poems were more therapeutic than his depressing poems.
