Just Call Me Honey

"Just Call Me Honey" is the scientific personification of a honey bee. The unique approach to understanding honey bees helps children understand their roles and their importance to humans.

The book begins with an overview of bees and the many species of bees, including the western honey bee. It next focuses on the homes of bees and their life cycles. The honey bee then shares how she and her sisters make honey and beeswax. It is interactive with children tracing, drawing, and thinking about math problems.
