Beskrivelse
"Just Between the Two of Us" is a fun memoir recounting the life of the author Fred DuBose enhanced with commentary by none other than God. It seems that the man upstairs has been keeping an eye on Fred - an avowed agnostic - all along and can't resist weighing in on the story. With a dry wit, memorable characters and keen storytelling Fred recounts growing up in Houston in the 1930's, flying combat in a B-24 in the Central Pacific during World War II, meeting and marrying the love of his life in Mexico City, his career in advertising and his many adventures along the way. With a religious upbringing Fred understands that God created man in his own image, so he naturally assumes they can talk man-to-man. It doesn't quite work that way, but God does turn out to be very human.
