Just Being Here is a Black Comedy, suitable for 10+ cast stage play. Although many incidental parts can be doubled up for smaller casts. Modern Literature. Really Funny Adult Humour Set in a fictional but typical Northern-English town, plentiful in colour and character it is an emotional rollercoaster that brings out the sorrow and comedy of northern life. Gritty and funny. Just being here is centred around a mature couple who lost their child in a freak accident several years ago, coming to terms with the loss takes its toll, especially when Dave Morley the person responsible for their son's death returns to town. I promise you it's a comedy, but one with passion and emotions, this play will take your audience through a string of emotions, ups and downs like a Blackpool rollercoaster.
