The Journaling Memories process is designed to assist and stimulate the thinking and written expressions of the aging including those suffering with memory weaknesses associated with dementia and Alzheimer's. Such stimulus is considered one of several areas that has been shown to help in the treatment of memory weaknesses The process of recalling and chronicling the thoughts, insights, and lessons of life has additionally been important to millions of people around the world in keeping the family history for future generations. Meanwhile, a process for recalling and articulating such thoughts and recording them in a complete, structured way has been nonexistent. From etchings on walls to shoe boxes full of letters, notes, and photos, a record of meaningful memories has only crudely persisted. Unfortunately, full accounts have been lost as years pass, and memories are blurred by the lack of an organized process in a fast-moving, modern world. Journaling Memories is a process introducing an efficient and engaging system for expressing experiences.
