Journal of Dutch Literature is the first Open Access English-language journal for research on Dutch-language literature. It contains articles by leading scholars on literature Dutch literature from the Middle Ages to the present. The methodological approach is interdisciplinary and often. It has a unique international perspective through which Dutch literature is placed in a foreign or literary context and through which phenomena are treated in the light of current questions in the international literature. The volume is edited by: Geert Buelens, Geert Claassens, Veerle Fraeters, January Konst, Frans Willem Korsten, Henriette Louwerse, Maaike Meijer, Johan Oosterman Erik Spinoy, and Thomas Vaessen.
