In Fukushima, Winter Flowers, Spanish artist Jos Mar a Sicilia (born 1954) addresses the 2011 tsunami in Japan. The artist converts different sounds and images of the tsunami, like birdsong and recordings of warning messages, into two- and three-dimensional paintings.
