Old photographs manipulated into magical "photographic drawings"
In Photographias, Bogot -based artist Johanna Calle (born 1965) erases elements from old photographs in order to create unseen narratives--turning a landscape into a musical score, a face into a polyhedron or an aerial photograph into the silhouette of a forest.
