Johann Winckler (1642-1705) belonged to the first generation of Lutheran Pietists and promoted new forms of Christian community (Collegia pietatis). The study thoroughly analyses his early biographical und theological development until 1678/79 and presents a bibliography of his printed and handwritten works. German text.
