This story teaches children how to create a calm space by following what Jessie's dad teaches her when she experiences anxiety. It gets the reader to associate a color with emotions such as happiness, and safety. It takes the reader through the 4 Element Mindfulness Technique, teaching them to ground, breathe, wet their throat, and fire up their imagination. Comes with color coded sheets to remind the reader of the steps in Calm Spaces. There are also three white pages included, so the reader can color it whatever color they like.
