Before Jax and Skye, there was just Jax. He thought he was done with love for good when his fianc Koby slept with his best friend, but then he arrived at Carson Manor where everything changed. Jax had to keep his distance from Skye, the woman he fell in love with the instant he spotted her because he didn't want to bring her into his supernatural world. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if something ever happened to her.
