This book investigates the Japanese contemporary art of the 2000s, focusing on how bodies and performances are connected to society, environment, materiality and technology.The display of works - that differ in both style and media used - is therefore functional in describing the artistic ferment of Japan, a contemporary lab characterised by an interesting intellectual vivacity.
