As before, Jacks Dits 2 is not a book which simply harks back in nostalgic fashion to the past, it is is an authentic validation, a genuine historical record of Royal Naval Social History. It is a true and genuine recording of life during the Royal Navy's heydays, the late 1950s through to the earlier part of the 1980s, as told by the voices of those who served.I am privileged to record these tales, to share Jack's humour and his pride, in this book. It is a record future generations access, so they too can understand what being 'Jack' truly means to those who served, those who were there.
