Jabuti the Surfing Tortoise is a story about believing in yourself and following your dreams even if you encounter difficulties on the way. A mix of digital collage, rich textures and watercolor illustrations take you on a trip to the sea alongside Jabuti, the land tortoise who has no flippers like the sea turtles have, but for whom giving up is not an option when it comes to learning how to surf!

Tania Martin is a snowboarder, a children's book writer, a skateboard designer, a mum and a kids snowboard coach. She mixes her design skills with her love for outdoor sports, creating beautiful books about nature and adventure. She takes every opportunity she has to spread important life messages through her work.
