Read-ME Chinese Series In Australia, there are not many Chinese reading books designed for Australian students, who are learning Chinese as a second language. Most books available are published in China and designed for Chinese-background students. The Read-ME Chinese Series cover a variety of topics selected to interest non-Chinese background students. The materials also reflect the national standards established for Australian students, as well as the latest principles in second language acquisition. The series may be easily used by individual learners studying on their own or by teachers assigning them for individual or group study. It is my wish that more Australian students love reading Chinese and enjoy learning this fascinating language.
