This children's book was written to instill within Jewish youngsters the values of acceptance and mutual respect. Eight year old Itamar who lives in a Yeshuv (a small village) in Israel, travels to the big city to play with his cousins. Initially he is picked-on by city kids for being an outsider, but aft er realizing that he is just like them, he is accepted as a friend. (Hebrew) The transliteration of the Hebrew title of this Hebrew edition is Itamar Rochesh Yedidim.
