Beskrivelse
All over the world, there are needs to be met. We all have one need or another at one time or another for which we could use some help. Hence, one of the acts that make life more interesting and comfortable is the act of giving and receiving or sowing and reaping. It is a well-honoured gesture practised by kind-hearted humanitarians all over the globe irrespective of their religion, culture, race, tribe, or sect. They purposely and joyfully engage in the business of giving-not necessarily for gain, but for the joy of meeting needs and being a blessing to humanity.
It is therefore unfortunate that the subject of giving is now centred majorly on money by many people and has become a tool for exploiting the weak, the poor and the ignorant. This book makes a case for reclaiming the blessedness of giving genuinely and with understanding.
When you give, you are sowing a seed. Broadly speaking, whatever you do for people, families, establishments, governments and private organisations-good or bad-is a seed sown for which there must be a harvest. God is a great rewarder; He does not forget the labour of anyone. "Don't be misled - you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant." (Galatians 6:7 NLT).
In this book, you will find the biblical basis for giving, the practice of giving, what to give, acceptable and rewarding giving and many other crucial issues on the great subject of giving. Indeed, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
