Three couples take the ultimate vacation, a year-long sabbatical to live on an island near the coast of Central America. The adventures and challenges are many, and it's not the paradise they envisioned. Their journey tests their friendships, endangers their lives, and provides each with a different perspective on life. They arrived with living on an island for a year, but their focus changes to that of survival.
