Specifically, he compares all of the conditional and procedural statements attributed to Christ to each other, as well as to all of the formal rules of human reasoning. In so doing, this book demonstrates that formal human reasoning can be an applicable method of interpreting these statements, but not generally for logical inferences nor for a few specific passages.
