Euripides is known in literature & fiction circles as a Greek tragedian of classical Athens. Euripides is one of the few whose dramas & plays have survived. Iphigenia in Aulis is a Greek drama & play that revolves around Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek coalition before and during the Trojan War, and his decision to sacrifice his daughter, Iphigenia, to appease the goddess Artemis and allow his troops to set sail to preserve their honor in battle against Troy. Iphigenia in Aulis is a Greek tragedy by Euripides that was posthumously produced with extensive interpolations.
