Learn how much fun intermittent fasting can be while exercising each day and eating out occasionally. Intermittent fasting is easy and fun when you record everything you eat and pay attention to the activity level of your body. Each day I fasted for fourteen hours and then I ate whatever I wanted every day for thirty days.
The secret to my success this month was intermittent fasting. I consumed calories for ten hours a day (from 8 am to 6 pm) and fasted the evening, night, and morning hours. I also recorded exactly what I ate using the phone app MyFitnessPal. I pay for an annual membership and love knowing exactly what is going into my body, even when I eat chocolate or drink a beer. This keeps me from overeating or giving in to a sugar urge late at night. I lost 21 pounds in September, and 9 pounds in October, and maintained my weight in November and December and January and February and March and April. In May, I continued the diet and added a bit of yoga and dumbbells and biking and hiking and disc golf. If you want to learn about my fascinating journey, then read this book.
