Jake has loved Hailey since the day he met her, which was when he was fifteen and she was eight years old. Jake waits to pursue his love until she is eighteen. Jake is happy to wait until she is of legal age to tell her aobut the side business that he will one day inherit. When he takes over the motorcycle club from his dad, he will be in charge of many things, including the gang itself. He spends as much time as he can with her around the one thing that brings then together, cheetahs, biding his time until he can finally tell her how he feels about her and the lengths he has gone to to protect her, then he can claim her as his own.
