The mission of the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) is to apply scientific expertise to resolve human-wildlife conflict while maintaining the quality of the environment shared with wildlife. This report showcases the 2016 research accomplishments, specifically covering the topical areas that the National Wildlife Center team develops to address human-wildlife conflicts, including:
agriculture (crops, livestock, aquaculture, and timber)
human health and safety (wildlife diseases, aviation)
property damage
invasive species
threatened and endangered species
