Beskrivelse
Inclusive Education: Perspectives, Practices and Challenges first aims to explore the challenges related to inclusion encountered by teachers, children and parents involved in a language-learning project in Switzerland. This study also highlights the importance of including parents in the process of teaching and learning in school and at home. Following this, a Canadian university teacher education program is assessed, discussing how to provide opportunities for reshaping and redesigning 21C physical education to be fully accessible and inclusive. By collaborating with a local fully inclusive recreation facility, teacher candidates were challenged to revisit their own notions of disability. In closing, the authors present some examples of European inclusive education projects in which they have participated. Inclusive educational methodologies and technologies have been developed to minimize the negative impact of the digital divide and support inclusive education and training in different contexts.
