These poems are proof / of the trauma I endured for him / keeping a record of the havoc he wreaked / upon my once quiet life / I'll use his lies as lines / and his secrets in stanzas / since my heart wasn't safe with him / his sins won't be / either / I'm transcribing all his transgressions / leaving warning signs / for the others / I am the patron saint of revenge / painting this town red / with his blood
