Eighty-year-old Detective Yanka Abeggel was not ready for the slow life of retirement, not just yet. Her work was far from over. Yanka has a unique set of skills that she utilizes if needed. Officially, Yanka had retired from active service, however, she had merely gone private as a consultant to the homicide department and continued to do what she loved most; busting criminals.

In broad daylight; a family of four in Sunset Grove was found dead in their home. Parents were brutally murdered and the kids were missing. The truth behind the events remains a mystery. Rescuing the kids became her top priority.

In an unexplained turn of events, inspector Dickson; a colleague and a friend of Yanka for more than two decades, and the lead officer in the Sunset Grove investigations had cut Yanka off from the case. This move made Yanka even more concerned but also suspicious, and those were enough reasons that led her to follow her gut feelings and take matters into her own hands.
