Beskrivelse

This poetry collection follows the chronology of a storyline, following the protagonist through the stages of life, represented as the plot. Each chapter explores the themes of self-identity, love, and loss which mature as the plot continues. "Anticipation," or the exposition, sets the plot by exploring the feelings of loss or lovelessness. Next, within the rising action, "Dream" fantasizes about a life with love. For the climax, "Frustration" capitalizes on the attempts at love and understanding and the devastations that follow. In the falling action, "Waking Up" identifies a new perspective on self-love. Lastly, "Redemption," or the resolution, brings everything together with a gratitude for it all. Ultimately, this is a story of how every protagonist can learn to thrive in spite of any disadvantages they may feel they have.
