Biochemist, Dr. Gurdev S. Ghangas, came to the United States in 1966 from Punjab, India. His memoir, In Search of Pathways, tells of his struggles and triumphs, impediments and hopes for a life of equal treatment in the scientific field he chose as his profession. Dr. Ghangas' desire to achieve higher education in biochemistry, and to receive due recognition for his work through publications and patents, became his journey to success as a scientist in the modern world.
