This humorous script features a cantankerous yet likeable old man who lets us know that in his day things were different in the church-they didn't have "all these fancy instruments," couldn't cross their legs because it was considered dancing, and had real pastors who could keel people over with the length of their messages. His preference of harsher and often harrowing good old days-"That's the way it was and we liked it!"-makes us laugh at just how good things are for today's church. There are several dramas featuring this character. This drama is concerned with leadership in the church.
