A KGB murder, espionage and a nationwide manhunt make up this story about a young man's flight to save his life. An American scientist and his family are murdered by the KGB. Alex, their teenage son, fearing for his life, escapes the grasp of the Russians by stealing his best friend's identity. His flight results in a nationwide manhunt by the KGB as well as the FBI. It takes the reader from our nation's capitol to Lake City, Texas. The story sheds light into some of the secret operations of the KGB and the FBI, but also the strengths and foibles of the people working for these agencies.
