A brown child of mixed race, disregarded by his Mexican-American mother and his African-American father, is subjected to horrendous verbal, mental, physical, and emotional abuse at the hands of his two stepfathers and mother. Not black enough for his African heritage. Too black for his Mexican heritage and inherently, too black for society. James is left to battle the torment, turmoil, and pitfalls of his childhood while struggling to become a man and a husband.



In Love with My 5 Wives narrates the 33-year conflict of a man's journey from being abused to becoming the abuser and transitioning into a man who would love and save the life of his wife 28 years into their relationship.
