In Light of the Last

In the future, the world is mostly united under one government, our Earth having been nearly consumed by conflict that threatened the existence of all humanity. This new united world will seem largely familiar, except for the fact that organized religion has been rendered illegal and punishable by death. When an elite squad of assassins is tasked with taking out the last vestiges of religion and spirituality on the planet, they are thrown into a plot too obscure to possibly envision from the beginning. Welcome to One World. I would like to disclose that this is ultimately a meditation on psychopharmacology, faith, sexuality, gender-fluidity, and self-governance. There is content in here that I was scared to publish, but I am no longer afraid. I will speak my mind, and draw the thought experiment to its conclusion.
