Beskrivelse
In Due Season is a collection of poetry and prose that reflect the life experience of a man that has struggled and made peace with his faith, sexual orientation, and loss of loved ones. The essays and the poems speak of the life of an African- American's experience with writers and their readership, same gender love, and intolerance of the black religious community as well as religion itself. There are poems that encompass political and social themes giving voice in such poems as Dreams and Reality, Sing, Freedom, and I saw it filled with roses and butterflies. I speak on the truth of death and the passing of family and friends, all are discussed in the little book. This work is a holistic view of life; the bad, the good and the lovely. I hope you enjoy. Thank you
