This is a completely overhauled version of the Antonine Itinerary, a series of routes from across the Roman Empire. It contains nearly 300 itinera. Major copyist issues with the text have been ironed out, including the numerous spelling inconsistencies, mileage discrepancies and text corruptions. 35 maps accompany the text, which include thousands of cities, every route mentioned in the text, as well as the names of numerous rivers and lakes throughout the Roman World.
