Beskrivelse
Nursing students provide care to families and their members with activities focused on family and community care. To this end, academic programs must be aligned to the characteristics of families in order to maintain and/or improve their health-related quality of life. As a whole, the analysis of family characteristics and the nursing interventions carried out by the students provide relevant information to the faculties and careers of nursing on the results of their academic programs and the impact of nursing interventions on the public health of the intervened communities. The evaluation of Health Related Quality of Life is useful to measure the impact of health interventions, since curative clinical measures only provide information on the effectiveness of treatments for a given disease and usually the people who are intervened are not surveyed about their perception of health, which includes the feeling of wellbeing and diligence in the care provided by the health team.
