Beskrivelse
Pediatric hospital facilities should have a variety of toys, as well as games, figures, books, and entertainment in the pediatric inpatient and treatment units. The general objective of this research was to understand the public opinion of nursing care researchers nationwide regarding the hospital toy library and the therapeutic toy. This is a qualitative research of a descriptive-exploratory nature. The participants were 52 nurses who took part in the research groups. Playing is a necessity for children; therefore, even in a hospital environment, it should be stimulated and guaranteed to this public. Even though the law exists, it is known that many hospitals still do not have an active playroom, as is the child's right. Knowing that nurses graduate with little knowledge on the subject, it is necessary to provide periodic training for those who serve hospitalized children, so that the use of the toy library is feasible.
