With an exciting opportunity in New Orleans, Victoria Deveraux decides to leave the protection of her family and embrace change. She also needs to get away from her impossible crush and family friend, Damien Moore. Once in the city, Victoria finds herself surrounded by the familiar and the strange; including voodoo practitioners, ghosts and the occasional zombie. Damien realizes he can't let Victoria walk out of his life, so he pursues her to New Orleans. Soon after, he sees that she has placed herself amidst life-threatening danger.
