This is a true story about a real man's positive and life-affirming journey out from the dark days in a Southeast Washington, DC ghetto-into the light of the Word to become a man of God. But once, Pastor Tim was deeply enmeshed in the 1980's drug and prostitution culture. Big Mack was a burly, tough and troubled boy: poor, fatherless, living inside a bubble of pain and misunderstanding. He couldn't break his way out alone; and for many dark years he didn't want to. He built a life of material wealth for himself and his family. It was a trapped life: a life of fear, suspicion, hard drinking, drugs, and selfishly living in the moment.
