I'll Be Right Here Waiting for You: The long road to acceptance

Everything happens for a reason. None of that anguish could have happened for nothing. There had to be a good reason to bear that deep heart-wrenching pain. We deeply felt that we needed her here more. Having her in our life was all we had known for the past five years. She had to leave this world no matter what. We prayed and prayed that she would stay here with us. I finally realized that this wasn't about us. This was bigger than our inconceivable loss and our road to recovery.
