Beskrivelse
Christians in the Western world often (and gladly) emphasize the "doability" of the spiritual life. But in the author's opinion, not everything is in the hands of man. We see in the Bible that the grace of God is needed for spiritual life and work. It conquers our hearts and through it we are saved as Christians. It leads us to self-acceptance. It shapes our identity and guides us on the path of our destiny. Finally, it is grace that equips us to serve others. Its work is not static, but enables us to grow continuously.
After fundamental considerations on grace and how we experience it in everyday life, the focus will be on God's gifts of grace, such as those listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.
