Beskrivelse
The core hypothesis of this book is that laughing is intertwined with letting go in an existential sense. We laugh more when we let go because our souls are less burdened. We let go more easily when we laugh because our souls are lighter. With humor, you could potentially hold opposing positions. You could stare down the pain. You could live through the struggle. You could hold what initially seems like contradictory positions, wanting the impossible, being afraid of the imminent, feeling helpless with continued losses, or feeling hurt yet caring too much. Laugh at the peak of your sense of conflict. You could then move on to a position that you believe is authentic to you. You can let go of what you want to let go of.
