Does the world really need ANOTHER Alphabet Book?

Perhaps not.

But maybe yes!

This ABC book is for word-loving parents and the kids on their laps.

The original illustrations on every page (Zebras in Tanzania; umbrellas in an Italian piazza; cake in a French patisserie; rattlesnakes on a California mountain trail; x-rays of a tiny triceratops inside the family dog) are full of details and humor, and lend themselves to new discoveries with each reading.

The alphabet words, found in rhyming text, are a mix of the usual and the bizarre (I is for insects as well as ichthyophiles; P is for pups, and for pansies, but also for palazzos; Y is for yoghurt and for herds of love-seeking yaks visiting the matchmaking yenta in her tent).
