Beskrivelse
The Collective Words of Wisdom Sermon Series is an interactive and engaging book that is meant to draw the reader, teacher, and/or preacher into a discussion. In I Hate to Ask, you will discover how to think about-and answer-some of the most probing questions of your faith.
Without a doubt, you probably have experienced some real difficulties in this world. However, believers in Christ should not allow worldly distractions to divert them away from the mission of the church, which is to make disciples as Christ commanded. Those who follow Jesus should seek to remain focused not only on who they are, but on the wonderful promises they have in Christ. This book will help remind you of that and engage you in considering the way that you as an individual-and others in the body of Christ-can experience having an abundant spiritual life.
This book consists of seven sermons: Difficult Questions, The Importance of Baptism, Be Inquisitive, The Rapture, Tithing, Faith, and Life After Death. These sermons are designed to be a launching pad for you to learn from, create ideas, modify, and use as a basis to create your own sermons and ideas. All the books in this series contain many reflective questions and function partly as journals, making each sermon adaptive to your targeted audience.
The purpose of the Collective Words of Wisdom Sermon Series is to encourage believers to become more intentional Christians, more engaged in the word of God, and more aware of the ways in which Jesus works in our lives as well as the ways in which we can honor Him in how we live our lives. By doing this, we can grow in faith as well as discover, understand, and eventually enact our God-given purpose as Christians, which is to bring glory to God in all we do.
