There is an epidemic inside of a pandemic. A war is being fought inside and outside of our homes that is threatening the fiber of the traditional family. There is so much controversy, hate and misinformation towards the bond between a man and a woman. The black man has been discarded by the black woman, by society and in some respects, the world. Now that many families have been forced to work from home because of covid-19, this war has spilled over into the homes of all races. So many years, black men have turned to other races seeking love and worth. This used to be a behavior only glorified by professional athletes and other financially successful men.
This leads us to ask the questions: Does true love between men and women exist? Does the word "Family'' still hold meaning? How relevant is the word "Father" in this new Society? Is there really such thing as the "Alpha Woman?"
Let us explore the true lives of some couples whose relationships have begged the question: "Do I need a man?" leaving men to wonder if they are needed at all.
