I Could Be Worse

Larissa grew up carrying many dark secrets for more than seven years of her childhood, while often moving homes due to her parents' career. After her secret came to light, she was diagnosed with Manic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In order to overcome the trauma was caused, Larissa felt that seeking psychological guidance would help work through her emotional triumphs. Eventually, her therapy led to practicing an intense psychotherapy called EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). The focus of the book is to build awareness about abuse and domestic violence throughout the community, empower victims to find healthy coping mechanisms, and support victims who are battling against their trauma in order to enhance growth and find peace in their journey.
