With the distribution of Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ, it left many questions concerning some of the biblical figures, one of whom is Barabbas, who was spared by Pontius Pilate instead of Jesus. I, Barabbas looks at a different side of perhaps one of the most misunderstood persons in biblical history. Barabbas has been described as an insurrectionist against the Roman Empire.
