I Am Listening

I Am Listening and Other Short Stories is a collection of 28 short stories on different aspects of life. They are drawn from real life biographical experiences of the author as he grew in the sheltered life in a rural area and from his later day interactions with people beyond his village. The title is derived from the second story which is a hilarious narration of how the fear of the mythical Cain of the Bible would make the young children call upon their parents, in this case the mother, to escort them to attend to the call of nature at night.
