I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made...and So Are You!

We are to keep watch over our heart because the devil is seeking to devour it. Everything that pertains to our life, comes from our emotional heart. If this becomes damaged, it can also damage our physical heart - via high blood pressure or heart disease. Which in turn can kill us pre-maturely, and it if doesn't kill us it can surely lesson our quality of life.This become a vicious cycle. If we are not guarding our heart, it can become broken. If it becomes broken, we can become hardened and calloused. If this happens, we are open targets for Satan to devour us because we are no longer keeping guard. If we are not diligent in ensuring we maintain the mind of Christ, we are losing our sober mind and therefore (by our own doing), we are allowing the devil once again to devour us. Our mind is our thought process that must be renewed daily to transform it to the Word of God, or transform it to be like Christ, who is the Word.
